Gilles Peterson + Moses Boyd’s All-Star Band

Photography for a special episode of Gilles Peterson’s long-running music programme, with jazz composer Moses Boyd playing live from the BBC’s legendary Maida Vale Studios, commemorating 10 years since his landmark record Rye Lane Shuffle. From June 2026.

Also marking Gilles’ final recording within the Maida Vale complex, the session assembled an all-star band of leading musicians from across the UK’s jazz movement – Theon Cross, Nubya Garcia, Zara McFarlane, Binker Golding, Nat Cross, Parthenope Wald-Halding, Kianja, Renato Paris, Chris Stephane Boizi, Dylan Jones, Artie Zaits, and special guest vocalist Cleveland Watkiss.

See BBC Radio 6 Music’s broadcast of the event on the Gilles Peterson programme here. It was produced by Reduced Listening’s Silvia Malnati, with Tasmin Kania as assistant producer.
