Photography – Personal

My personal photography practice in film. Viewed individually or collectively, these photographs are stories that speak to the poetics of listening, whether or not I’ve stumbled on profound or mundane moments.

I photograph with 35mm film, usually with my manual Canon FTB QL, but also with my automatic Canon Epoca 135 camera. On occasion, I take out my medium format Lubitel 166b, a simple Soviet model I got for cheap on eBay.

For developing film, C.I.M.E. Lab is my go-to, a Black-owned lab, store and creative studio – they’re local to me and handle C41, ECN-2, black and white and E6 film development methods.
